ENTERING
AND EMBODYING TRUTH:
ZEN MEDITATION
with Reb Anderson
Tuesday Evening, 7:15–9:15pm
July 15–August 12, 2008
5 weeks / $70
The source of truth and justice is unconstructed silence
and stillness. This class in Zen meditation offers a way of
entering and realizing this source, and then emerging and
embodying it in our troubled world. Each evening will include
a period of sitting and standing in stillness, teachings on
this way of meditation, and group discussion. Enrollment is
limited, so early registration is essential.
Tenshin Reb Anderson is Senior Dharma Teacher and former Abbot
of San Francisco Zen Center, where he offers classes, leads
retreats and practice periods, and trains lay practitioners
and priests. He regularly leads workshops and retreats with
groups of dedicated students throughout the United States
and Europe. He is the author of Warm Smiles From Cold
Mountains and Being Upright: Zen Meditation and the
Bodhisattva Precepts.
