Pranayama
with Gay White
Friday Afternoons, 4:30–5:30pm

This class will explore yogic breathing practice to help you
relax, restore your energy, and deepen your breath in the
asanas. We will begin each class learning skills for deep
relaxation and letting the breath guide our awareness into
the inner body. We will practice gentle asanas and basic pranayama.
One year’s experience of yoga is recommended. Consent
of teacher required.
Gay White studies and teaches yoga in the Bay Area at the
Yoga Room, Berkeley Yoga Center, 4th Street Yoga and at her
home studio, Left Bank Yoga. She is on the faculty of The
Yoga Room’s Advanced Studies Program and teaches retreats
locally and in Mexico and New Mexico. Gay has studied breathing
awareness and pranayama with Katie Allen and Donald Moyer.
